Kinda sorta. I had noticed, when studying autopsy/disection photos
of a cat, that the claws don't slide into anything. They actually
tilt up, like the hood on a car. So I figured that when a feline
anthro has his/her claws sheathed, the last digit would be tilted
upwards a little more (if you have a pet cat, watch how its' claws
work. They are marvelous devices!). The claw tip wouldn't really
show through the thick fur at the fingertip, and the character would
still have 2 knuckles.
