I had to read that paragraph a few times to get the meaning right
(I hope I got it right!). There's a difference between being excited
and fearing for your life. The adrenaline dump that occurs in the
latter is unbelievable. So, while an exciting encounter as the one
mentioned above might produce some adrenaline (and some musk),
the "fight or flight" response would not be occurring. I would also
imagine that a skunk anthro's control over their spraying muscles
would be near-absolute. Although, perhaps, as a skunk gets into old
age, such control may be more difficult to obtain. "Depends",
anyone? ;)
Hope this'll work for you. I'm still getting together some of the
character info. I've got that stuff all over the place. In various
file cabinets, desk drawers, you name it. Kinda wish I'd organized
it before all this. ;)
