Wow - *$1169*?? I never thought anyone in the erotic furry genre
would see that much for their artwork, whether or not he/she
wholly deserved it. The only reason I say this is because most
times, no matter how elegantly designed, drawn and presented,
it's very difficult to proudly display this artwork to the general
public. In other words hanging it on one's wall when guests
arrive seems out of the question. :")
For example I just received a beautiful comission and various
sketches from Steve Martin for about $150. Aside from scanning
and coloring it in for display on the web (which he allowed me to
do), I can't really show the work to my RL friends. $150 for it
already seemed like a lot to pay - specifically because it isn't
something I can show others outside of the genre's viewing
audience.
For those that disagree, please know that I'm not here to argue
the point, it's just an observation. I know why people pay that
much for an artwork (as much as I had for Steve Martin's
drawings). Some people can care less and show this artwork
proudly no matter who enters their home. It's just amazing to see
how far the genre has come, or better said, how much Jim
Hardiman's artwork is revered in it.
