Looney Tunes on DVD Petition

I'm posting this message to quite a few places so I apologize in
advance for any multiple posts anyone might recieve.

If anybody is even remotely interested in seeing the Looney Tunes and
Merrie Melodies cartoons on DVD anytime reasonably soon, I urge you
to sign the petition located here:
http://www.animationondvd.com/petition_looneytunes.html

This petition was started only yesterday as a response to WB's
announcement at Studio Day that there are currently no concrete plans
to release the cartoons on DVD anytime soon in the US (even though
two Tweety DVDs have already been released in Japan). In about a day,
the petition has recieved over 500 signatures. Remember that these
petitions can be effective--a petition convinced WB to release Willy
Wonka in a widescreen format. Please help to remind Warner Brothers
that these cartoons are not just children's entertainment, they are
WB's greatest and most important legacy and they deserve to be
preserved.

Thanks,
Joshua Smith
