It's a symbiotic relationship of the most most literal kind: you've got
something we want (.)(.) and we've got something you want ($$$). It's allll
good =)
Which is just me way of saying that it's pointless (though gracious) of you
to thank US for the deal, because without you the whole thing would be
nonexistant in the first place, and many of us would be less happy (and
guilty =P) then we are now, whether or not we pay for your stuff. I for one
no longer have a guilt complex about the whole thing because I've actually
gone and BOUGHT (gasp) some of your stuff, and foud that it's quite a reward
unto itself just to know that you're being recompensated for what you've
done.

And just as a note to the public, after finally (I'm always the last one to
get these things) bagging a copy of Spotlight 3, I have, after much
searching, finally put a personal definition on one of the things I value
most in life:

Perfection in Art: Anything that is blatently sexual but has you laughing so
hard you can't pop a bone for 3 straight hours.

Sorry for the crudity ladies, but I just can't put it better than that ^_^

Thanks! It'd be nice if I didn't have to depend on the sales of my
art to keep a roof over my head. The majority of the money from this
auction is going to pay for this month's mortgage and utility bills.
I'm going to try to put up another auction real soon because my car's
transmission is taking a shit, and I don't like having to depend on
Des's car to drive me around (I have to wait until she's not using
it). Besides, her car sucks. It's a 4-cylinder, for Christ's sake!
But quite honestly, I was surprised as hell when I saw how the
auction went. Surprised and humbled, actually. So for those of you
who took part in the auction, or for those of you who have ordered
stuff from either Mailbox Books or myself, I say "thank you". If it
wasn't for your continued support, I doubt I would still be drawing
this stuff, or at least doing anything worthwhile with it. I hope I
can continue to produce the art you all like, as well as delivering
the best quality work I can.
  Thank you, again.
