Hmm you're probably thinking of the first season (I guess the
creators thought they had to break ground in offensiveness). Yes the
boys are potty mouths, but usually the jokes are based on current
events and pop culture all wrapped up in each episode. They even
slammed Howard Stern by having him pay one of the boys (Kenny) a mere
$20 for a "hummer".
Some of my favorite episodes involve the Election of 2000 (greatly
parodied as a kindergarten class president election gone bad) and the
final Apocalyptic battle ("Jesus vs. Satan live on Pay-Per-View!")
When they start back up in November they probably won't touch the
9/11 tragedy with a 30-foot pole or risk having their show demolished.

Oh, and who's Red Skelton?
