Okay I got a good laugh out of that. It's the English language,
though our version is often called "American English" due to slight
differences in spelling and, of course, slang.
And I still think there's a lot of rough syllables and things in the
language which causes accidental spitting and coughing when you speak
it. As for slang, that's more-or-less irrelevant.
Even saying "Guten tag" the "proper" way often causes some spit to
roll off the tongue, as opposed to "Good day" which does not. Since
this is a moot point I'm willing to just drop it.
