There was some delving into the psychology of the skunk sisters, but
what of Val? She seems to be the type to believe almost anything of
the worst concerning her daughters (Spotlight on Skunkworks #3). And
obviously has a vicious temper to boot. I'm a little surprised that
it only mentions Lori scarring Val's ex-boyfriend and Val herself not
killing him.
