  Okay, lemme see. The current year in that anthropomorphic universe
is 1754. Space travel has been in use for over 100 years, so let's
say that first started in 1650. Hmmm...
  There was never a World War 2; only one big war was ever fought
(which involved most of the countries in existance at that time).
Perhaps the Year 1 could be the first year after this great battle?
I dunno, man. I've never had any reason to go that far back in that
universe's history.
