I've been getting a small quantity of individual emails asking about
the "secret message" that Scrapper replied to...that doesn't exist
anymore.
Well in the interest of science and clearing up confusion I thought
that I should explain myself just a wee bit. I did post message
#2911 and five seconds afterwards reread it and shuddered.
What in the name of Tesla was I thinking? When I reread it the
message gave me the sense that I was inadvertantly 'talking down' to
others and using more of an snooty intellectual tone of voice than I
had been aware of.
So I deleted the message and posted a shorter edited version of the
same thing that didn't sound like I was being a snob.
And then the emails started to come asking me what the big deal is
with the hidden message...
Rest assured, there is no conspiracy...yet.
Sometimes you just can't get these things right the first time around.
