After reading the statistics on
http://www.attach2success.com I'm not
even sure I want to ever decide in a major. Perhaps the "Crawl"
method of majoring in "Well, everything" would be better, if only I
could get my dad to pay for that much college :-(
Note: "Crawl" was Pauly Shore's character in "Son-in-law" for those
who didn't see the movie, which is probably a vast majority...which
is a shame, because it's one of his better (if not his best) films.
Which reminds me, I saw "The Majestic" today and it is everything the
previews promise and more, much much more. It may clean house at the
Academy Awards and Golden Globes next year, assuming Lord of the
Rings and/or Vanilla Sky do not grab them all...tough competition
indeed...but you know, this is all IMHO anyway :-) non est
disputandum de gustibus...
Note #2: While I'm explaining the obscure the latin phrase used
translates literally to "the taste is not disputable" or "There's no
accounting for taste" but really how could you hate a film like The
Majestic...it's got everything, humor, drama, humanity, political
statements, social commentary, historical social commentary, even
patriotism (both good and misguided)!
If I see even 1 below-average or worse review for The Majestic I'll
assume it's trolled (unless backed up with good specific points from
the film) and it might get nasty... (especially if it's something
like "Majestic suxxor, Not Another Teen Movie and How High roxxor
nuff sed homies") but again, non est disputandum de gustibus... *evil
grin* I'm starting to eat my own words here, I need some sleep <:-)
*twitching* Must...keep...going...sleep...is for
the...weak...grrrr...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

*snortle* Wha? Whozawhatzit... oh. Yeah the jury's still out in my
opinion. I think it could be a genetic disposition because I saw a
3rd-grader's sketch of Superman you could swear was DC Comics itself
(and on further reflection, it probably was *wink wink nudge nudge*)

Nah it seems more likely to slap up and inspire than to insult. A
college education may get you far, but requires far more effort than
experience as drawing does.

Now that I finally got "all I expected for Christmas" I'm fine...
however my birthday is on Jan. 9th so I'll get majorly screwed over
by my financially challenged/spent-out relatives as usual :-(
Oh and as it turns out I share Tricky Dick's birthday (a.k.a. Richard
Nixon for you post-Gen Y'ers, assuming you hacked Yahoo or
something)...however I share very few (if any) of his "evil" traits..
Better than being born on Hitler's birthday/Columbine anniversary
April 20 like a friend of mine...
Agh I'm rambling again! Manic moment! Automatic message end!
Wishing us all Happy Holidays, weak Hangovers (where applicable) and
a Happy New Year,
Josh Bailey
