Ummm...no. Females can pretty much mate whenever they want, but
are only able to conceive during their heat cycle, which varies by
species, just like their 4-legged counterparts. I would imagine the
females might have a shorter temper during their cycle, but not
enough to actually try and duke it out with one another. Unless they
just wanna fight...
