Well, the way I see it, if it wasn't for all the folks who like my
work and support my occupation (however twisted it may be), I
wouldn't be drawing this stuff and having as much fun as I do! I
figure the very least I can do is to listen to their ideas and
questions; after all, many of those ideas inspired me to draw
pictures!
I've noticed that there are many individuals in the fandom who feel
their opinion doesn't matter, and that's simply not true. Low self-
esteem is horrible. I always like it when I'm at a convention, and
am able to converse with an individual for awhile, because maybe just
by listening to them and talking to them, they might feel better
about themselves, or perhaps more secure in their self-worth. No one
is worthless or a "nobody", but it's difficult to tell those
individuals that. I hope that by at least communicating with people
like I've been doing, maybe it will inspire someone to try for a goal
they previously thought was out of reach. At the very least, they'll
know they DO matter.
I believe in no religion or faith, but simply live by the "Golden
Rule": Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. And it's been
working just fine so far...
