Actually, he treated her like crap, which is why they got divorced
nearly two years ago. He's very selfish, as well as obsessive-
compulsive, delusional (he still refers to his ex as his "wife", and
often says "My wife and I" or "We"), and now he's paranoid (changed
all the locks on the house, thereby preventing realtors from entering
in order to show the house to prospective buyers). He's fucked,
man. But that's all behind me now. He never spent any time with my
brother or me while we were growing up, so there was never really
much of a bond. No pun intended. But I feel lots better now that
I've got my own space, and will leave him to his own devices. I have
never been a man to show pity for someone; he is merely reaping what
he sowed. He made numerous bad choices, and must now deal with the
consequences.
But I'd be lying if I said it's not amusing to sit back and watch
him fuck up even more. >;)
