Ok, so I went to my first con a coupel years ago, and had a
completely misserable time there until the con was officially over
and I somehow got invited to Bob Hershey's room along with a few
other furs who sat around and talked for a while. Then Bob aked if
everyone had seen the yiffy Y2K video he had compiled from animated
gifs from various authors... some furs, including myself, hadn't, so
he pulled out his Amiga (!) and let us see it once, then went back
through each individual segment and talked about how it was made and
such. The next day, as everyone was going home, I ran into Bob on
the way out and he gave me the 'not for sale demo version' of the
tape to cheer me up after having such a horrible time over the
weekend.

Pretty cool. Anyway, the last animation was a short 'preview' of an
animation project which showed Onyx using a bottle as a dildo... I
also remember seeing an animated gif that was a looped shorter part
of the animation in somefurs private webspace after they had
presented some pic on IRC. (I was looking around to see what else was
there :P) It was just called onyx.gif but I haven't seen it anywhere
else since, and my HDD has died several times since then so I don't
have it anymore. :( (and the tape is on the opposite coast in
storage, along with my T.V. >.<) I haven't heard anything about this
project since, so I'm wondering what ever became of it. Is James
still working with Bob on erotic Skunkette animations? Almost all of
the rest of the animations on the tape are freely avaliable online
(albeit without sounds or commentary) so is there any chance of this
animation being released publicly as a gif?

Perhaps I'll go to that con again this year (since its' 4 miles away
and I could WALK home if I felt trapped and depressed like two years
ago...) and see if Bob is there so I can ask him...
