Well, if they're 17, then they should be getting ready to graduate.
After all, I enter Penn State Univ. at 17 back in '79. (Yes, I'd just
dated myself. Big deal. :) ) I was basing it on the car driving
story. I think you would still have to be at least 16 (in most
states) to get a license.
It *is* kind of funny that it's never come up though. Maybe they're
out of school by now?
Maybe because noone has thought to ask Jim? :)
