To continue the OT, yet informitive thread. =)
The canadian "Toonie" or $2 coin looks like the 2 Euro coin, in that is has a
silvery outside, and a golden inside (not sure of the materials used, havn't
collected coins in a while). That was mostly what my reference was to.

Aye, pennies/1 cent coins are annoying. Actually, IMHO, anything under 10cents
is kinda silly to have, seeing as how things are priced nowadays.

That's exactly what they've done in Canada. They also just recently replaced
the $10 dollar bill with a new one as well. Actually, it's kinda representative
of the Euro bills...
Supposedly, they're supposed to make the $5 bill into a coin as well. I hope
not. It's annoying enough being able to give someone a $10 for a pop (soda =)
and get all the change back as actual change. =\
