They put a likeness of a traitorous Injun lady on it (Sacagawea).
They lasted about 5 minutes in circulation; hardly anyone
wanted 'em. At Anthrocon 2001 I bought a book from Trickster and he
gave me my change in Sacagawea dollars. I got rid of them as fast as
I could.
Traitorus? Chris, she was the lady that helped the Louis and Clark
Expedition explore the West. That's why she's on the coin. If she was
a traitor, she would never have her face placed on the coin. After
all, the would be a coin with Benedict Arnold's face on it, and he
was the ultimate traitor. Besides, I would rather see her than that
old Sour puss Susan B. on the $1 coin any day of the week. :p As for
the girls faces on the coin, I don't think I would those at all.
Wouldn't know where they been. :)
