The girls are out of high school. Nicole Hessman, however, is
still a senior in school. Kids start school when they're 4 (in this
little fantasy world), and graduate when they are 16. Other age
differences between our world and theirs: to become a licensed
driver, you must be at least 16. The legal drinking age is 18.
People can get married when they're 15, if they want, but it's not
recommended (no job, no money, still in school, etcetera).
Basically, I figured that since animals mature so much more quickly
than humans, there would be obvious differences in age requirements
for various activities. And since these characters are half-animal,
they should mature more quickly.
