  Yeah, but patience pays off. I think the amount of detail affects
the time involved. Not to bust on Des or anything, but she can crank
out 5 or 6 pictures, fully inked, in the time it takes me to ink the
outlines of one picture. But she does toony stuff, so detail isn't
really too important.
  Unfortunately, I think the additional detail I put into my work now
has actually chased off a few people. But I don't believe in resting
on my laurels or not forcing myself to do better next time. Maybe
someday I'll be as good as I want to be, but until then, I'll keep
drawing what I can and strive for the best.
