Uhh, Shad I don't think you've ever actually played it before 'eh?
Facemasks, cups, bodyplates- etc are provided in the sport to keep it from
ending up in injury. Markings and welts are about all you can really get.
Unless you deliberatley pull your helmet and facemask OFF and then get SHOT
in the face and get hit in the eye- you're not going to die. It'll hurt like
hell though =P.
