Thanks for the notice, Jason. I went over there and made a few
posts. I try to be reasonable, and view things from both
perspectives. It's much better to be nice than mean, and I don't
want to ruin anyone's fun. But I will definitely continue to keep my
eyes and ears open for more of this activity.
Technically, there's not much I can do, since the comics were
scanned in, not the folios. However, Radio Comix is the owner of
those comics, and they do not permit posting of their merchandise
whatsoever. The posters may want to at least consider that before
posting other work, either by myself, or other artists. Oftentimes,
the artist (or author, if the work is text) will give his/her okay
for the posting of material, provided the poster contacts them and
asks if it's okay.
The threat of rampant online postings has made me consider stopping
my art, and pulling it off the market entirely (in the past). But I
realize now that most folks just want to share what they've seen, and
that's okay, as long as it doesn't go all over the place. And yes, I
have ways of finding people, should the need ever arise. But
hopefully, such action won't be necessary. There's already too much
bad shit going on in this world as it is.
Christ, I must be on speed or something. Not usually this
verbose. Anyway, thanks again for the heads-up, man, it's
appreciated. Take it easy!
