I'm not Jim, (can't even claim to be an authority
really...) though generally he doesn't mind fan
fiction providing the characters are used along the
guide lines as he would use them. Keep to their
character profiles and no violence. That is, don't
have the girls running around shooting people or
similar, no rape and try to keep it a bit tasteful if
you are writing spooge. Don't write stuff just for
shock value, you may be shocked at the response! (Oh
dear, it appears I've been banned from the group...)

Actually, Jim, it would be good if there was a short
doc written with a few guidelines put in the fan
fiction section so us authors have a pointer about
what is considered "acceptable use". Obviously
acknowledging character copyrights is a good start!

I don't write graphic spooge, I tend to just suggest
it. "It is what you don't see, but want to see that
makes it interesting!" (Wish I could remember who that
quote is from....)

Your plot sounds to have merit, go for it! (Well,
that's my $0.02 worth)

In terms of posting, short stories can be posted
directly to the group, though bigger stuff is better
posted to the fan fiction section of the group. It is
REALLY easy, follow the prompts.

Scrapper, Black Dragon, who is pleased he's not the
only one generating a few stories.
