I've always found it odd that Americans don't all
sound like they do on TV, eg like on 'Friends'. To my
ear, most Australians from the southern states all
sound like that... The further north you go, the more
the drawl comes out. Must be a heat thing, hence why
it is south for Americans. Classic example is Lucy
Lawless (Xena) who delivers her hollywood accented
character like every other American TV show, yet when
doing interviews for Australian audiences, speaking as
Lucy, she has a really thick New Zealand accent.
Nothing really wrong with that, just seems strange
after you;ve got used to the character's speech
pattern.
Back to the girls, in my opinion, I'd agree that
they'd probably have a more measured speaking rate.
Lori I would agree would probably sound like the black
jeans and jacket hard hitter.
Onyx would be sort of immature, happy-go-lucky,
'blonde', but not stupid. Talkative and loves to
chatter.
Natasha I think would sound more mature, probably
slightly slower in speech pattern than the other two
showing control and sophistication. Probably more
likely to use big words than the others as well.
Still get all bright and happy when excited (no, NOT
in THAT sense! Geez furs on this group!)
My day has been hell! This email has taken four hours
to write!!!! Hope everyone else is doing better...
