As for the Fates being used in Disney's Hercules. The fates are both
in Roman AND Norse Myth(the Norse Fates are the bases for Oh My
Goddess) . However It would more think of them as the 3 sisters from
Hamlet. You Know the 3 Witches... But as Jim Once said in a
Halloween Issue "more like 3 Bitch.. Ow my eye!!"

Keep in mind that the Romans stole pretty much everything they had,
especially religions, keeping most of it intact, just changeing names
(the most classic roman mythology is an almost exact rip of greek
myth) for the most part, though they would add things they liked, and
drop things they didn't, and just to make it not seem completely off
topic, the sisters fairly much delight in life as many roman emperors
did, with wild multi-sexual orgies, not saying the romans were all
bad, just blatant thieves, and the reasons why we have copyright
laws :)
