I don't want to put a damper on all the condolences displayed here,
but I think this needs to be said anyway. With all due respect, a
simple internet message from his account isn't enough to convince me
that this is real. Yes I know I sound jaded, but I was on one message
board where a woman faked her death in order to escape money problems.
I don't accuse Jim of anything like that, but it is entirely possible
that some ass could have gotten his password and posted this message.
It's an awfully ironic occurence -- almost too ironic. If this
holds, and it is true, then of course I am very sorry. But, I would
simply council some caution. This is the internet, and it can be a
funny place.
