Well, just in case it might be possible that it can be fake, all we
have to do is to make sure that all the money raised for him will be
sent to his ACTUAL address presently displayed for a long time in his
web site.
That way, whatever this is true or not, the money will go to Jim and
the prankster will get nothing.
Beside, one clue that it can be real is the fact that we haven't
heard fro him since the message was posted.

It's an awfully ironic occurence -- almost too ironic. If this
holds, and it is true, then of course I am very sorry. But, I would
simply council some caution. This is the internet, and it can be a
funny place
