Um...it's slang, man. It means getting some food. Unless someone
is throwing groceries AT your neck, in which case it has an entirely
different meaning, and would probably hurt like hell.

I believe so. I normally wake up in the late evening, and go to
bed before noon the following day. I've been this way for *years*.
