And now...a blast from the past!

Hey all-
Couldn't seem to get past the Yahoo! homepage last night for
whatever reason. Not sure if it was a problem with Yahoo! or
Bellsouth. Anyway, here's some really old art I thought I'd post up
here, since I can't ink worth a shit right now.
The comic strip is one of the ones I did for the high school
newsmagazine. This dates back to 1990. A glimpse at the sick humor
to come? Maybe.
The two color pieces are of characters from a comic I had drawn up
prior to creating Caterwaul. The name of the comic was Corsair, and
was mostly a comedic space adventure story. These characters are not
the main characters, obviously, but they're the only ones that I had
colored, so that's why I'm posting them. As an interesting side
note, this was the style I was drawing in when I taught Des how to
ink. I think this might be why people confuse the two styles. This
style of inking didn't last for more than a year for me.
The five pictures in the sketches folder are of characters I had
created back in 1990. They were the first anthro comic characters I
had made, and were obviously a precursor of things to come. How do I
know this? Because the five females pictured in these sketches
worked at a brothel owned by the raccoon. You be the judge...
So what happened to these characters? They're still here. Des has
expressed interest in doing the artwork for "By the Tail", which
features the aforementioned 5 females, as well as many other
characters, male, female, human, and anthro. She has also offered to
ink the pages for Corsair, provided I can ever finish them. I feel
the story would do better with her style of toon inking, rather than
my realistic style.

Okay, enough shit from me. Enjoy the pics!
