Well, the ConFurence art show accounting is done, and cheques will be
going out on Monday. Sales were good, and as might be expected, Dark
Natasha (who will be a guest of honour at next year's ConFurence) was
the high seller.
But now, let us turn to the subject of the Jim Hardiman benefit
auction. There were 53 items in the auction, of which we raised
$1349 in sales. This of course includes the now famous "Hit Kevin
Duane In The Face With A Cream Pie" event. In the bucket that was
passed around (with great assistance from Steve Gattuso), we managed
to raise $938, making a grand total of $2287 going to help Jim's
medical bills! Let's hope that the other efforts that are underway
are as successful!
