Feel depressed in the knowledge of that there is
nothing new in the world, just less recently seen
versions. Providing it doesn't feel cliche and keeps
the reader entertained, without blatantly being a rip
off (unless you go down the pardoy path), then use it!
Heck, 'facilitate' a few of Shakespeare's ideas and
add a little corruption! To quote badly "Read the
latest works of science but the oldest works of
fiction." No, I'm not passing judgement on your
writing!!! :-)

Here is a scenario that I think may work. Val going
to an adult entertainment expo and meets Zig Zag.
They talk shop (photos and films are similar) and Big
Z invites Val and the girls to swing by for a week and
do some special shoots. A combined folio and video
could be good for both parties envolved. Val agrees,
sets date, keeps looking around expo. ZZ bumps into
Mousey Love Girls, who are big fans of ZZ's work. Get
around to talking about they'd love to "try something
like that" some time, so ZZ says that since SAMA is
coming over, why don't MLG and Herbie come along that
week too? "It'll be fun!" smiles Zig Zag.
That should be enough for you to drag the crew
together. You can then run a few things they do while
they are together. Have SAMA & MLG stay in the same
hotel. Go out to dinner at different restaurants with
the rest of the crew. Make sure they go to a crappy
venue as well as some good ones to keep the variety
in. With that many characters, be careful of your
time frame, else you'll end up with a novel (like
Scrapper - The Challenge is heading towards...), as
you want each character to get a reasonable amount of
spotlight time.

Feel happy with that, Shad. You could be like me
where everything you see you try and figure a way of
bending it into a SAMA scenario, parody or some other
weird misuse. You've read my Girls Visit The Mall
story (under the Files\Fan-Fiction section of the
group for those who haven't), so you know what I'm
talking about... I think you're review was something
to the effect of "No more porno movies for you,
Scrapper. You're head is about to explode with
perverted ideas..." I am taking that as a complement.
Scrapper, Black Dragon, bad idea source who just gets
influenced by anything he encounters...
