I've tried doing that once, and Windows says that it is installed and does not need to be. You'll
need to un-install Java and thenm re-install it. You'll need to go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com
to update it back to par.

What you need to do is re-install your windows
operating system. You don't need to reformate the hard
drive.
All you have to do is put your recovery disk into the
cdrom drive and click on the option that will install
your windows operating system.
That's all you have to do.
