On the part of the one poster, simply stating the opinion that the dragons
involved wouldn't be into that and that the orgy would be out of character
would have been enough. I understand that some people (probably most
people outside furry fandom) tend to think of cartoon characters in
general as being nonsexual -- especially characters they are personally
attached to -- and lesbian relations as being outside the norm. Of course
this isn't the sort of list where toons would normally be considered
nonsexual and hardly the place where I'd expect to see lesbian sex being
considered out there at all.

I'm rather attached to Priscilla myself but I certainly don't see her as
an asexual character or as being straight by necessity. I see her as a
shy character with a body feature that's embarrassing to her (her large
wings). The parallel I see in this to common body image problems some
girls have is having large breasts or unusually early development. The
same can be said for unusual ears, nose, or the perception of being
overweight but I like breasts. =^.^= Now that doesn't seem like such a
big problem to me but remembering the way young girls treat each other
from school -- where I hung out with and related much better to girls than
boys -- any slight difference can be a reason for exclusion.

Of course in Dragonland, where social ostracism is rare, a dragon who is a
bit unusual is going to be treated much more gently than in the human
'real world' it mirrors. Still, I think she needs a nice really close
friendship or two or three to help her really open up and see that her
wings are beautiful and that she is a beautiful person. Those sorts of
relationships can very easily and naturally become sexual. I'm not saying
that she needs a good banging in the vulgar sense but that I believe it
would be a good thing for her to open up and be sexual with her
friend(s). In the shows she has only had one episode with the focus on
her and a bit part or two so her personality hasn't been explored very
deeply but she is a very sweet character and I'm sure she has a lot to
offer in a relationship, or in an orgy.

I think there's a very unhealthy tendency in the US and maybe elsewhere to
define certain types of genre as being entirely nonsexual. Anything
associated with children, including cartoons and cartoon characters, tends
to get that treatment in the mainstream so it's easy to see how someone
might put a character they care for on a pedestal.

Oh, and the dragons do give each other meaningful looks quite often in the
show, including Cassie and Priscilla. I think the animators like to slip
those in, along with rather naughty expressions that flash by quickly.

PS- There are flames over this but no one complains about the picture
of the dragons eating Max and Emmy?
