Heh, I totally missed that.

I have forwarded the spam (and the headers) to abuse_at_attbi.com. I suggest everyone here does the same.

And I agree with the 'moderate new members' bit...PlayMouse does that, and we haven't gotten any spams through since.

(Well, except for that 'please join my Yahoo! Group' bit that was going around lots of furry lists.)

  That's about it. Other than that, one of the best tools for preventing
  spam and such is to set the list settings to "Moderate new members", which
  is a "Normally moderated" list, but people who just join get moderated
  until set otherwise. You can then check on posts and once a person has
  posted a few on-topic things, un-moderate them.
