Now Mr Hardiman, I want to give you money, (for the
Furbid auction specifically in this case) but before I
attempt (and get trapped as I have previously!!!) to
use PayPal (we, in foreign countries, need to use our
credit cards to pay into it), I need to know if you
have a premium account. This means that you (or I can
adjust for it) pay a 2% commission on transactions,
but it means that you can accept PayPal payments
sourced from credit cards.
'Personal' accounts won't accept payments souced from
credit cards and even if it is rejected, I can't get
it back, my bank not being US based. So it bounces
around till I can divert it somewhere that accepts Pay
Pal/Credit card transactions... >_<
Someone else may be able to answer this if they have
experience here.
Pay Pal costs me about a third of the price of the
next cheapest system and about 10% the price of the
banks! So for us international purchasers, it is a
very desireable function!
Scrapper, Black Dragon, feeling a little bad that so
much time has gone by since the auction and he hasn't
doshed up yet... Hmmm, maybe I need a US bank
account... THERE'S a challenge...
