Hey Rick
I could't aree more with you on this one man! They are pure Evil
hell they make Darth Vader look like a pussy.
A few years ago a buddy of mine used to run an auto parts store in
Carson City Nevada, (Action Auto parts) Well when the big new &
shiny walmart opened up in Carson City he thought he had nothing to
worry about as Walmart didn't sell auto parts. Well the first sign
of trouble was them selling motor oil for a $1 less than he could buy
it from the wholesalers for. It got so bad that he would by it off
Walmart and offer it to his customers at cost just as a service to
them, He was hopping that his customers would like to buy the better
grades of oil and not the Walmart cheap shit. Nope that didn't work.
Then Walmart started selling auto parts nothing big but you know the
spark plugs fan belts & Cooling hoses, You know the bread & butter
to the auto parts guys. Hell they even started selling the damn
fuzzy dice and air fresheners. Well day by day he tried to hang on
but 2 years after Walmart raised its ugly head he was filing for
bankruptcy alnong with hundreds of other small bisiness in town, and
to think it all started with them selling cheap oil.
Yep when Walmart moves in the little man moves out.
But that's not the end of the story, It seems the Carson City Walmart
wants to build a bigger store as the site they are on is way to small
for the growing monster that they are, So they have being trying to
buy the city property were a small park and race track now stands,
Which was in the late 1890s-1920s The Ormsby Co. (Now Carson Co.)
Poor farm used to be. Well there is a small almost forgotten
cemetery there were about 30 Poor folks are buried in unmarked
graves, All except two of them who were Veterans of the Civil War so
they have the standard C.W Veterans grave stone. Well if Walmart
gets its way then Private's Jas. Johnson & Jno Thoroughman graves
will be marked in the future by Check out counters #1 & 2 Yep even
the dead are affected by the Evil Empire called Walmart.
Sorry for the rant but when I hear Walmart my blood boils.
So to make up for it I'll upload a few unknown Skunkworks pieces I
have, That's if the mice haven't beaten me to it. (;
