detest playing 'internet mum' (be grateful I'm not
moderator!!!) it is probably time I raise another
point that furs seem to have been ignoring of late.
If you are writing to something in a context that is
NOT of general interest to the group, then write the
person directly. Don't post general chit chat. It is
okay to briefly mention something OT in a post, but
the general content of the post should be relevant to
the group.
The other point I've mentioned before; it really does
pay to read what you've written prior to clicking
send. Fix the spelling, grammar, punctuation and that
phrase that can be misintrepretted and cause a flame
war! It only takes a few extra seconds and prevents
hassle later.
