I heard tell, and saw a picture of, a guy that was undergoing surgery
to look like a tiger. I don't know if it's the same guy, but I don't
remember any talk of him being Native American, or of it being a
totem, just that he wanted to be a tiger...

So he had his teeth filed, he had his lip surgically fixed into a
permanent snarl, he had polyester 'whiskers' implanted into his face,
and I think the orange-and-black patterning of a tiger came from
tattooing... last I heard was that he wanted to get some tiger-skin
rugs implanted into his skin so he could have fur... which, needless
to say, is very stupid.
