And yet, somehow, by your reckoning, this group is 'for' you to bitch
and moan on?
Think again. Either quit it here, or take it private. I don't care
either way.

How is it not 'running the group properly' if what he was doing was,
in his opinion and the opinion of many others, in the best interests
of the group itself? Would you WANT to see more groups disappear? How
can you fault someone for taking what are actually quite reasonable
precautions to protect THEIR groups?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not blind, I've seen the explanations that
Yahoo does not force enforcement of any age policy. BUUUUUUUUT, they
also do not pay any attention to any complaints they get. And so, if
someone complains about the minors or possible minors on a particular
group... kiss that group goodbye! Yahoo don't care.
Of course, that doesn't prevent malicious idiots from complaining
just so the group shuts down. But it's best not to give the lunatics
any more ammunition than you have to.
Oh, by the way, this discussion is now CLOSED, unless you want to
take it up with me personally.
