Well. . . isn't that interesting.
My system is protected in part by a NAT firewall in the form of a
Linksys router. Recently, I added an additional layer of protection
after purchasing Zone Alarm Pro.
I had configured Z.A.P. to block all ads that accompany way too many
websites these days, and noted an oddity.
If I have the Banner / Skyscraper Ads disabled or blocked, Yahoo mail
goes nuts. You can read mail, but you are unable to send or reply to
any of it until the Ad blocking system is disabled. It's just the
Banner / Skyscraper ads. The rest can be blocked with no
problems.
