I just got to reading this email, working on a story, and I must say a story
that I did that got good reviews has some "violence" in it. It is called
"Dragons Revenge" and is posted on this site,
http://www.greyarchive.org/index.html In the Grey Archive section. Under
Sci-fi, it is a erotic story archive BTW.

I fully intend to continue working on the sequel story. But like with
anything creative, you have to work your ass off and let it sit for a bit.
The story I did, mentioned above, sat for a year on my HD doing nothing
until I edited it again and submitted it to said site.

As for your view of how stories lack realistic writing. I must say I
wholeheartedly agree. The leads in my story go through some mental anguish.
Most of it is explained in the sequel that will take some time due to my
other writing projects.

Hell I completely am empathetic when it comes to the struggles of artist. I
know what it feels like to screw up something, or even get not one bit of
praise. Heck most of the inspiration for some more kinky stuff in my recent
work comes from inspiration from Jim's realistic style as seen in his
pictures ^^.

YES!!!! Let's hear it for Violence!! I don't mean to
sound rude, but things in just about all the Furry
worlds i've seen are too Utopian in nature. People
co-existing in harmony and fucking constantly. While i
DO enjoy those types of Stories/Characters very much,
it seems a bit too fantasy-like. People don't get
along very well and to add some gross atrocities
involving gardening tools once in a while adds
believability, not realism, just believability. It
somehow roots the illusion in reality. Let's not
forget that the Predator species would not be content
with tofu and rice, they would rather tear into the
living flesh of another creature. (yum)
One of the things i like about Jim's world is the
fact that twisted people DO exist, I.E. Paul Grier,
the would-be child molester. (would be if he still had
a face) Jim might not have intended to do it, but by
giving this character life he added a dimention of
believability that most people try to ignore. Then
again, it's all about personal taste...i guess i just
like to see characters bleed for some reason.
oh well, back into obscurity i go. Feel free to
comment, flame, i don't mind.
