Yep, that's a fan. Open the case, turn on the system and you should be
able to tell which fan is dying by the sound source. A CPU fan is cheaper
to replace than the power supply fan, which requires a new power supply,
but neither repair should be expensive.

Oh boy. Just be patient, keep taking your meds and watching your blood
