Don't know about the wheel of time series (Only read one book and it didn't realy appeal to me)  But if you want a good furry story look up "The Blood Jaguar"  I'm not sure of the auther but  it's a good book.   With an interesting mix of chars...  the main hero Bobcat isn't realy hero materail  he's a lazy good for nothing catnip head...  *chuckles*
