A graphic tablet is a great investment, though it is not a
requirement for Adobe Illustrator. Since you are creating spline
based curves, if you're not happy with the curve, you simply drag the
points around until you are. The curve is based on placement of key
points, not how steady your hand is on a tablet. :)
( Which makes it nice actually. . . . . )
