Taj's Saga is anoter a great web story series, set in the same storyverse as
the Wulf Freelancer stories. It is about a young lionman trying to master
magic while avoiding, and dealing with, the trouble that always finds him.
One of the few stories that I cannot stop reading sometimes once started.

That is the link to his site on furnation, he just updated his series with a
story this January, matter of fact I also e-mailed him about it and
complemented him on his work. And he is also an artist, look for him on the
VCL he does have some images on his site. And his artwork sometimes
represents characters from his stories so they are a great supplement to his
growing web novel. He also has some images of Tanj on his site and the VCL
as well.

I've read the tales and I have to say they are fantastic. I can't
recommend them highly enough. They are certainly in a better league
than many web-based novels.
Another good free internet furry story (well, partly furry) is
the "Wulf the Freelancer" stories.
If Yoose9 is looking for an actual printed book on the other hand,
you might try "Tiger, Tiger" and "Pleasure Toy" by Aishling Morgan,
found on Amazon books (the uk branch, anyway).
People who like LOTS of free furry stories might want to try

Thank you for the links to Howell's work - I'll enjoy taking a look
at it Shad_Devil.
