Actually, this is a pretty personal question, but I'll answer it
anyway, or at least the bulk of it.
Des and I have been very good friends for many years. Yes, we do
spend "quality time" together, but that doesn't mean we're gonna get
married. I think the Mousey Love Girls got the ball rolling on the
whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing. We are very close, true, but that
doesn't mean we spend every moment together. She has her agendas,
and I have mine. Sometimes they coincide, other times they don't.
She's been working a lot of hours getting together money for a
possible relocation. There were two available jobs for her; one is
in Miami, the other is in Orlando. Rather than commute the ungodly
distance from here to Miami (not to mention she said she sure as hell
didn't want to move there), she decided it might be better to go to
Orlando. It's only about 3 1/2 hours from where I live, and we'd get
together probably once a month. Whether or not she decides to go
there is up to her, but we've discussed it, and I told her she should
take the opportunity to work a job she really wants to work. Our
friendship will remain as it always had. The only difference is,
she'll just live farther away.
