I don't usually try to meddle in such stuff but seeing as this is
getting out of hand in a group that I love, I want to make some
pointers.
First off, why does everybody always have to assume that everything
another does is meant to insult him? Let's make a hypothetical(hope
this is the right word) guess. Karabiner, being from Japan, could be
embarassed that he is in trouble money-wise. Therefore he may have
told some of the ones he trusts the truth but at the same time, out
of embarassment, told the public lists that he ISN'T in trouble. I
know quite some Nihon-Jin's, since there are many at my University
and such things aren't unheard of. Therefore, Romus only posted what
he thought to be the truth.
Another possibility is that Hirtes got a mail from Karabiner in which
he just said something like this: "I am in a bit of trouble because I
need money. Btw, I have a CD out for sale now." But that doesn't have
to mean that he needs desperately money and tries to make the same
with the CD's, it may just be that he wrote this without realizing
the implications this made.(This is HIGHLY theoretical since I have
no clue how good Karabiners English is!I know japanese pple where
this happens all the time and others who could pass as born Americans
speech-like.)
Finally I want to give some pointers. I REALLY don't know who is the
good guy and who is the bad guy here, I merely try to smooth the
waves, BUT nevertheless I have to say the following. Atm, as a mere
on-looker, I tend more to believe in Romuz's side of the story, you
know why, Hirtes?
Because of your behaviour. You jump on him and insult him in quite a
child-like manner whose Candy has been stolen. You seem to take the
suggestion, that you could be wrong, as a personal major insult and
start insulting Romuz and threatening him at once. On the other side,
romuz stayed calm and mannerful. That makes him more believable than
you anytime.If you are the one who is right, then calm down and try
to keep your manners intact, otherwise, noone will believe you even
if it is the truth.
As I said, I don't know who the real culprit is here or if there IS a
cuplprit at all since it could be only a misunderstanding in this
Karabiner-case but I know that such useless hassling and insulting
isn't going to solve anything, so stop that and try to discuss this
in a civilized manner,
