I had the payment ready to go. He never gave me his mailing address to send
the tape off to (it was a trade arrangement). All he had to do was provide it
and the package would have been on it's way to him the next morning.

Instead, he just jerked me around for several weeks, and then out of the blue,
abruptly dropped the commission because he had the uncontrollable urge to
go kiss Jermy Bernal's butt for a while.

I thought that that was that, until he started putting up the sketch of MY
character on his own website, without even having the decency to put a
(copyright) Michael Hirtes on it.

When I confronted him about it, he acted like the ass I now know him to be.
And get this, when I even provided him with proof that the character IS mine
(Little did he know that I also had an earlier drawing by Mike Vega as proof*),
he actually had the gall to say that *I* ripped *him* off. Caddell's POV: "What
are you gonna do? Take it to the Furrys Court?" (An attitude that Sibe would
certainly love).

(*Sometimes each artist has their own particular way of drawing the same
thing (visit a live modeling class and you'll see what I mean). Before I found
out what the REAL Michael Caddell was truly like, I was curious to know how
he would have handled the same image.)

It's because of Romus' behavior that I asked Den to make sure that any and
all of the "Desert Storms" illustrations he has done for me (Den's the chief
designer for the series, BTW) will NOT be on the CD. Last thing I need is for
Caddell to have more stuff to be a bastard to me with.

Are you saying that I've deadbeated on commissions? Allow me to put a
sledgehammer to that LIE right there. I do NOT pull that crap (I'm no Kevin
Duane). IF Caddell gave me address and didn't stall and smokescreen for
weeks, he would have recieved his payment asap (I don't like to have stuff
sitting around for too long for fear it may get lost in the shuffle). He's the one
who failed to honor his side of the agreement, not I.

As I said, Caddell would have been paid, IF Caddell prevent me from doing
so.
