Sorry I've taken a while to get back to you, but RL keeps
throwing hurdles in my way and sometimes I need to stop and
winch my way over... ;-)

As usual, I'll tell you what I see. Hope it helps! See
below.

You get used to them. I used to have a few hassles with
some things, like it is easy to cut yourself if you don't
pay attention, but after a while it is not a hassle and you
just adapt and don't notice them. Had to learn to type on
the claws or type flat so they don't hit the keys. Just
accept I'm going to get more key wear typing on the claws
seems to be most comfortable. I see the problem Lori has
with puncturing keys, I'm just not as brutal. :-)
You either use them or avoid them, depending on what you
are picking up. Have to be careful when using them to grip
or lever things open that they do have limited strength
compare to what is available in one's arms. When they get
past a certain length, they are easy to keep clean too,
believe it or not.

On to Des' hands....
Firstly the claws. Length appears okay, though they need
to be broader and thicker to emulate JMH's style. They are
a triangle with a rounded top if viewed as a cross section,
as they approach the digit. I appreciate you are probably
still revamping the hands, but I'll suggest so that if I
spot something you are currenly not aware of, it may help
you.

Fingers generally appear pretty correct (something not
perfect, but can't pinpoint the issue), though where the
thumb joins the palm appears a bit chunky and broad to me.
Reduce the thickness of the webbing will probably help too.

Something in the Right view appears wrong - is that arm and
wrist thickness we can see behind the hand? Thumb has a
weird angle that appears to make it curve the wrong way.
Just perspective I'm guessing.

Little finger may be a bit broad (when viewed from the
bottom) though looks correct from above. Particularly
where it joins the palm. Assume you will put in more
definition around joints later.

Hope this helps.

Scrapper, Black Dragon, always the critic! ;-)
