No worries if it's a woodchuck. They generally run when they see a
human and they're really not dangerous. Of course I've had two of them
run under the front wheel of my bike. :-P If you see a big fat thing
running away from you, it's probably a woodchuck and mostly harmless.
If you see a skinny doggish thing with a long muzzle trotting around or
dog tracks with the center two pads well forward of the rest it's
probably a fox or coyote. They're mostly harmless too. I think
badgers and wolverines leave tracks with great big claw marks... *G*
